Container Conversions

More and more of our clients are looking for a permanent unit or semi permanent  Catering Facility.

Over the last few years we have been using our mobile kitchen skills and experience to deliver the ultimate conversions package.

After carefully listening to our clients requirements and  planning we  deliver with meticulous detail our clients completed unit. 

Now a days with all the modern and super efficient  equipment we find it very rare to have to build a trailer bigger than 18ft you can have 4 people working onboard comfortably at that size.   

A great starter unit we recommend not smaller than a 10ft x 7ft big enough for all the basics a successful catering business needs to get up and running.

Every Year we do what we call a challenge project.  This is our take on an American Diner.

A fully loaded ultra high spec trailer to showcase some of our abilities.  This trailer is an 18ft x 7ft6".

In our opinion this is the best drivable vehicle to convert into a commercial catering unit. It allow 2 600mm counters either side .  It also allows you to be as close to eye level  with customers as you can be. The best and most cost effective drivable mobile catering package.

As the name says very similar to its Lo-Floor cousin but the huge downside is that the floor sits 30cm at least higher and so the customer is alway looking up to the server and vice versa.  This can hinder oncounter and dispaly sales of goods.

This is a very difficult vehicle to convert.  Hatches are always a problem as is cladding the vehicle properly with wipe clean surfaces. The biggest issue is always that you can only get one 600mm counter and if you are using gas where to put the gas bottles.  The base costs of the vehicle tend to be less but the conversion costs can sometimes outweigh the vehicle saving depending on client requirements. 

Horsebox and Caravan Conversions are a huge labour of love.

We strip the units back to the bare bones for a comprehensive refurbishment that will last for years.

These types of projects take a huge amount of time to do properly and costs a considerable amount of money to complete properly.

We spend a huge amount of time detailing the clients requirements  and work through and managing expectations  in these difficlut to convert projects. 

When converting a caravan you need to be very careful that the floor is not completely rotten as these are structural parts .  Rotten floor equals scrap caravan.
